Boneless deep-fried chicken chunks from Legendary Chicken (takeout), stir-fried with broccoli in a sweetish soy sauce glaze (at home), sorta like General Tso’s Chicken, though I can’t say for sure, never having tried the dish myself, at least not in a Chinese-American restaurant (but see 3.115 General Chicken), but certainly better than my prior attempt (see 11.301 General Tso’s Chicken).

In any case, the shortcut to use takeout boneless deep-fried chicken chunks, commonly sold at chicken joints (see for example 13.109 Sunsal Chikin), was a good idea.
