A farewell dinner for EE (see most recently 13.298 Dweji Galbi).

This time, I wanted to move beyond Korean BBQ, which he can get anywhere – and reportedly does back home in Vietnam – and treat him to something he’d never tried before, so I decided on grilled eel.

I forgot to take a photo, until the very end – and even then, I don’t know why it turned out so blurry.

As is the case with everything at this restaurant, the kimchi mari guksu is great – a refreshing palate cleanser and filler to wrap the meal.
