At Jackson Blvd, the so-called “Margherita Pizza” is a pizza crust with the cheese baked directly into it, plus tomato sauce spooned on top, plus a sprinkle of shredded basil leaf and dried oregano.
It did not work. The loose sauce didn’t pair with the crust-cheese, making the texture feel both wet and dry in alternating bites. Eventually, the sauce dripped everywhere and made a mess. The basil was too skimpy to make an impact, while the oregano was unpleasantly gritty. Ugh. Try as I might, I can’t imagine how anybody thought that this would be a good idea.

Nevertheless, I am pleased that the chain offers multiple vegetarian options (see also 13.312 Greekology Pizza; 13.320 Legend Pizza; 13.328 Five Cheese Pizza) – not that I like vegetarian pizza per se, but non-vegetarian pies at Korean delivery chains tend to be loaded with icky processed meats.
