The main dish was chicken broccoli adobo.
These days, any dish with a fried egg topping calls for 2 eggs per person, so 8 eggs for the 4 of us.
As a time/energy-saving measure, I tried cooking the eggs in batches of 4 by cracking in the eggs all at once without bothering to separate them. Ordinarily, I crack in the first egg, wait a few seconds for it to set, slide it to the side, then crack in the next one, and so forth, until 4 eggs are cooking individually, no overlapping edges (see for example 13.140 Chicken Bokchoy Adobo). Kinda fun to watch them merge to form 1 large white with 4 yolks. Prior to eating, however, the problem was trying to separate them into pairs, which didn’t come apart very easily or neatly or evenly.
