As noted in this restaurant’s inaugural post (see 14.170 Grilled (Salt + Soy) Chicken), the chicken comes in 3 variations: salt, soy, and spicy.   They’re offered in a package deal at a reduced price, cutely named “Hapgye,” meaning “combined (hap) + chicken (gye),” a pun on the word for “combined (hap) calculation (gye)” (i.e., the final amount at the end of any arithmetical process).

Alas, the Hapgye can’t really be photographed together, as the spicy version is cooked separately (because the marinade tends to scorch).

Confirming my prior impression that the spicy is my least favorite of the trio, but still very good.
