La Consteña’s canned Whole Pinto Beans are seasoned, so they can be eaten as is, preferably heated, but I added fresh black pepper, Cholulu sauce, topped them with shredded mozzarella, and threw the skillet under the broiler until everything was bubbly and gooey.

The main dish was steak, with leftover beef from the roast last k (see 15.023 Ribeye Roast), pan-seared, then roasted in the oven, just like before (see 15.039 Ribeye Steak).
