As suggested by the sudden drop-off in patronage – initially 5 visits within 20 days, then none for the past 114 days (see most recently 15.032 Buffalo Wing 4pcs) – I’ve grown rather weary of this place. The food is generally okayish, but falls short across the board. The only dish that I still find mildly enjoyable is the so-called “enchilada,” more of a “wet” burrito (see generally 15.014 Enchilada Set), but not worth the price of 23,000 won.

Tapatío is my all-time favorite hot sauce. Perfectly balanced sweet-sour-spice – mild kick, only 3,000 SHU. Ubiquitous across Southern California – where the company was founded in 1971 and continues to operate today – especially at Mexican restaurants. The first mention of Tapatío on GMTD goes back to Cycle 2 (see generally 2.043 Braised Pork Spare Ribs in Tomato-Red Wine Broth). It was an essential item during my camping days (see for example 2.304 Grilled Lamb Chops in Tapatio Sauce). At one point, MtG and I considered starting a business to import hot sauces – “Picante Seoul” – starting with Tapatío (see generally 4.226 Hotdogs with Pico de Gallo à la Tapatio). The last reference to Tapatío was during Cycle 6, when I was living in Manila (see generally 6.204 Chicken Soft Tacos). Then, for reasons that I can neither recall nor fathom, it was not mentioned on GMTD for nearly 9 years, until now.
