Tairyo is a Japanese restaurant. Offers only nigirizushi omakase. 2 services at lunch, 2 services at dinner, by reservation only.
The food was excellent. Thoughtfully conceived (albeit nothing particularly mind-blowing), expertly crafted, pristinely fresh, delicious. The featured dish of this post comprised aburi scallop + aburi uni + rice, wrapped in seaweed – superbly balanced in taste and texture. Lost count of how many courses, forgot to photograph them all. 50,000 per person (both lunch/dinner) seems absurdly cheap in light of the quality, though it wasn’t a fully rounded a meal (see for comparison 16.191 A True Omakase), leaving me kinda hungry by the end of it.
Hyeongjae Ae (Brotherly) is a Korean-Chinese restaurant. Sorta modernized versions of classic dishes.
Apparently, we were all still kinda hungry.
The food was fine.
