Home Renovation: Day 75

Dropped by to check on the apartment, which is coming along nicely – aiming for mid-May completion.

This restaurant was featured on GMTD in 2017 (Cycle 8) (see generally 8.295 Osam Bul).  We’d moved out of Oksu in 2015, while I was stationed in Manila, but I’d drop by on occasion either to see my parents or hang with friends in the neighborhood.   Back then, the business had expanded to 4 locations (see also 8.297 Octopus Abalone Ramyeon).  It’s now back to the original one.  Despite my skepticism at the time – “I predict that the business model is doomed to fail.” – I am very pleased to be proven wrong.

Located 53 m from Oksu Station (Exit 7).
Good crowd, even at 18:30 on a Wednesday.
Draft beer!!
Banchan (3.5): dubu kimchi and ssamjang were especially good.
Seoul Night (3.0): smells like plum but not at all sweet.

The food was solid.  Can’t wait to come back with a bigger appetite to explore the menu properly.
