Stovetop stuffing – which I used to make all the time while living on my own in the States, before I started cooking for real – was featured twice on GMTD, early in Cycle 1 (see most recently 1.100 Fried Chicken with Stuffing), then never again, for reasons that I can’t remember.

In that prior post: “For this 100th post – who thought that I’d make it so far? – I considered doing something special, but then I had to remind myself that the blog is intended to capture what I eat on a daily basis, for better or for worse.”

Exactly 6,000 posts later, the stuffing comes full circle.

Part of the recent Berkeley haul (see generally 17.238 Pan-Seared Salmon and Asparagus with Fettuccine in Rao’s Homemade Vodka Sauce).

Other than adding onions and celery, I followed the instructions (I think), but it came out mushy and salty.  IZ, trying stuffing for the first time in his life, liked it.
