Holy Week Family Vacation to Malaysia-Singapore, Day 3 (see previously 8.096 Mee Goreng Mamak).
Monday to Wednesday in Johor. For Legoland. Thursday to Friday in Singapore. For food. Back to Manila on Saturday.
We spent the day at the water park but didn’t take any photos. Despite the lack of documentation, plz believe that we had a great time.
One problem with the resort is that the dining options are limited. The hotel offers only the main buffet restaurant (see generally 8.095 Peanut Sauce), a small sushi bar inside the buffet restaurant, and an Italian place, plus room service. Next to the resort is a small shopping center that has a handful of American fast food joint, a few local eateries – none of which looked appealing – plus Absolute Thai. Otherwise, the resort is out in the middle of nowhere, the nearest urban center being 18 km away.
My sense is that nobody minds much because the kids are so tired by the end of the day that food isn’t a priority.
