Spicy Pickled Cucumber

Tried to recreate the dish from Din Tai Fung (see 8.307 Spicy Pickled Cucumber), which is probably easy enough with a proper recipe but beyond my ability to first-time free-style.  Just by appearance, it’s clear that I needed to salt and marinate the cucumbers longer.
