As noted in my first visit, the fish – grilled half-dried Hokkaido fish – was again a-w-e-s-o-m-e. With rice and a full spread, including kimchi, it could be perfect.
Tsukidashi (3.0) – (free appetizer) napa cabbage and tofu skins in soy sauce.
Itchi Tofu (2.25) – raw tofu with scallion and hondashi garnish, actually not that bad, but only for those who REALLY appreciate the blandness of raw tofu.
Shima Aji (2.5) + Maguro (2.5) + Hamachi (3.0) Sashimi – with this plate, the family quickly agreed that this ois the place for us.
Ika Geso Karaage (3.25) – deep-fried squid tentacles.
Hamachi (3.5) + Ama Ebi Nigiri Sushi
Negi Toro Maki (4.0)
Zaru Soba (3.0)
Kake Udon (3.5)
We agreed to come back for a third visit before deciding whether to make it one of our official family favorite restaurants.
