Mapa Tofu Rice

As a shortcut for mapa tofu (see most recently 10.130 Mapa Tofu Rice), I often use a kit from the brand Marumiya.  Being Japanese, it’s a bit mellow, no hint of the Sichuan peppercorn, which we prefer.

I put a lot into the dish – typically: pork, onion, scallion, peas, enoki – so the kit just expedites the seasoning part.
