Jikhwa Jjambbong

with the Family
Having been blown away by the beef brisket jjambbong at this place, I brought my family to share the experience.
Out of curiosity, I ordered the seafood jikhwa jjambbong. While “jikhwa” =
“direct heat,” referring to the flames that lick the food when stir-fried in a wok, the broth had the same charred flavor as the meat version. However, not enough seafood to elevate the broth to another level – e.g., a heap of fresh prawns, crab, clams would do nicely. Still very good.
Try Every Item at Jjambbong Janggun (TEIJJ). I will attempt to eat my way through the menu, which shouldn’t be too difficult, with only 15 items in all – now 4 down, 11 remaining.
