W and I had been so impressed with lunch that we came back for dinner, along with the kids and my parents.

When we arrived, the manager informed us that the owner had arranged for all of us to have the table d’hôte, a 6-course set, so we couldn’t really refuse. 99,000 won each.
In the end, it wasn’t enough, so we ordered 2 additional orders of pasta. 29,000 won each.
Even with a 10% discount, the bill came out to nearly 600,000 won. Ouch.
I did a calculation afterwards, and it’s actually cheaper to order each of the individual items à la carte.
The spaghetti with seafood in oil was excellent. In fact, having enjoyed the dish at the prior lunch, and it was what brought me back. Huge pieces of fresh seafood, including an entire abalone, plus cherry tomatoes and asparagus, delicately seasoned, tossed in olive oil. The course meal came with the same pasta in name, but the seafood is chopped into smaller bits, making it far inferior. Another reason to avoid the set.
