Tonight was my first and final experience with the instant naan by T’Asia Kitchen (see also 12.319 Pu Phat Phong (Kari) with Shrimps & Eggs & Peas).

Also my final experiences with the heat-and-eat curries by Kitchens of India (see also 13.085 Pan-Seared Salmon with Dal Bukhara).

Right out of the bag, the pre-cooked naan looked and smelled almost exactly like Mexican tortillas, except with a buttery aroma.

Toasted for 30 seconds in a dry skillet over high heat, they tasted almost exactly like Mexican tortillas, except with a buttery aroma.  Which isn’t a bad thing per se, but they’re nowhere near actual naan.

The curries were both disappointing, though the Palak Paneer was marginally better than the Rajma Masala, and better than the one at Agra (see 13.183 Tandoori Chicken).
