Another dinner for the boss – now former boss.

Fewer dishes tonight, trying to avoid overstuffing the guests, like before (see 8.188 Kong Jjigae and Much Much More).

Perhaps too few, however, because everyone seemed a bit hungry at the end, so I scrambled to whip up a final dish, from scratch.  The spicy noodles loaded with shredded veg provided a crisp and refreshing end to the meal.

Gold Mountain Pork Belly with Sautéed Potatoes (3.5)
Shrimp & Asparagus in White Pepper Sauce (3.5)

I don’t like to boast about my own cooking – although, yes, GMTD is ultimately a sustained self-rodomontade on the awesomeness of my food experiences – but I impressed myself tonight in how quickly I turned out the noodles, even managing to produce perfectly medium-boiled eggs in the process.
