In Korea, fishcakes (eomuk) are commonly found in the form of skewers (ggochi) along with soup (tang) at street food carts (see for example 5.002 One (Batch of Odeng) for the Road).
This ready-to-cook package from Korean food producer CJ includes 3 skewers of fishcakes in varying types, along with powder soup base. Unsatisfied with the soup flavor, I added seasonings, including chili for some kick. I also added boiled eggs.

It was part of a quasi-Japanese meal, along with spicy kani-cucumber rolls, cucumber cores in sesame dressing, and boiled edamame.
