Beef Ravioli in Pasta Sauce

In college, my favorite lazy late-night snack was Chef Boyardee’s Beef Ravioli in Pasta Sauce. Straight out of the can.
In fact, I think that it’s better that way. At room temperature, still packed inside the container, both the raviolis and the sauce remain kinda thickish and kinda flavorless – unique in texture and taste. But when heated and plated, it begins to feel as if trying to be an actual dish, and falling short.
At first bite, the boys looked at me, like “Really?” By the end, they were licking their plates.
