Making the rounds to see our displays at various YP Bookstores, including the one in IFC Mall.

Afterwards, we had lunch with our on-site staff member.

Located on Level 3 (at IFC Mall, ground level is Level 1, B1 is Level 2, and B2 is Level 3, then B3 is P1, B4 is P2, and so forth).

While Din Tai Fung spans more countries (5), it features with fewer locations (7) and far fewer posts (11) (see most recently 16.200 Lobster, “Taiwanese Style”).

Returning to the table after washing my hands, I discovered on the tabletop menu tablet that one of my staff had entered jjajang myeon, which I promptly deleted – all these Cantonese goodies, and her first choice is fucking jjajang myeon.

The Stir-Fried Radish Cake was quite nice.  Reminded me of Singaporean carrot cake (see generally 4.266 White Carrot Cake), but crispier on the outside, squishier inside, sorta like deep-fried tofu cubes.  Tossed with sprouts + scrambled egg + scallions.  Very simple seasoning, no trace of XO.  Quite a generous portion at just 9,500.  I would definitely order this again.

Everything was good, except for the Stir-Fried Egg Noodles (not pictured).
