Deep-Fried Tofu with Vegetables in Spicy Black Bean Sauce

Getting closer to perfecting the revamped menu at this restaurant (see generally 4.263 Parros Clams…).
Now that the clams have been relegated to soup, the spicy black bean sauce is confirmed to be an ideal accompaniment to tofu and mixed vegetables.
Even as I approach perfection, however, I’m beginning to dislike this restaurant for its lack of customer service — they know know who we are and how much we spend there, and they also know specifically who I am in relation to who we are and how much we spend, and yet they don’t seem to pay us any respect, never even offering us a fruit platter for dessert.
This is why I’d begun to consider Tao Yuan as a preferable alternative (see generally 6.095 DONE), which I will now push more aggressively.
