I would love to visit this restaurant more often, at lunch time, but it’s always packed.
So, staying late at the office, I took the opportunity to stop by for dinner.

Suanla Chaoshou is a Chinese dish. Boiled pork dumplings, wrapped in wonton skin, covered in a spicy-tangy soy sauce. The name of the dish means “hot and sour (suanla)” + “folded hands (chaoshou)” (in reference to the way the ends of the wonton wrapper are crossed over each other). Originated in Sichuan. Starting to become a thing in Korea, where it’s typically referred to as just “chaoshou.”

Solid. The pork filling was juicy and tasty, with a hint of five-spice. The oversized skins provided an interesting overlapping texture The sauce was nicely balanced, with a hint of Sichuan pepper. Currently offered as a special, hoping this becomes a regular item.
