TERSP.  Try Every Restaurant in Serendra Piazza.  When the family moves to Manila at the end of the month, we’ll be living in the One Serendra condominium complex.  The complex includes a mini-mall (“Piazza”) dedicated primarily to food and drink, with 21 restaurants.  Whereas TERSP is fully conceived to be a family project once they’re here, I’m getting a head-start.  In contrast to the negative net returns on similar projects conducted by myself in Ermite/Malate, I’m optimistic that The Fort — one of the country’s poshest neighborhoods, where food is taken seriously — won’t disappoint us.

Each restaurant is categorized and listed in order of preference based on the overall dining experience, including the quality of all dishes tried, cost, service, cleanliness, ambiance, and any other factors that may apply, cumulative through multiple visits (if any).

The General Tso’s Chicken at Wang Fu was okay.  Competently deep-fried, well-balanced sweet glaze, otherwise unremarkable.  My first experience with the dish labelled as such (see also 3.115 General Chicken).

Given a choice of where to eat for lunch, my helper Orlie and her cousins — who’d worked their asses off to help me move — opted for Chinese.

As Orlie has declined to continue working for me following the move, due to the distance, I will miss her very much, grateful for her services over the past couple years.  Wishing her the best (even though she will likely never see this post).

For dinner, I got a variety of takeout dishes from the same place : similar okay-ish results, nothing that would inspire me to come back.
