The 10th in an on-going series of burgers experimenting with pre-made non-beef patties – the first over a year (holy fuck how time flies).

With frozen fiskpinnar (“fish fingers”) by Findus, recently acquired at IKEA.

The updated packaging now includes an elderly white guy with a beard and sailor’s cap, presumably the captain of the boat that caught the fish that went into the product – he also supplies the fish for Gorton’s.

Deep-fried – I cannot fucking believe that over 3 years have gone by since the last time, when I cooked them in the air-fryer (see 12.021 Fish Fingers with Pasta and Salmon Pudding in Cheese Cream Sauce) – the breading coatings were much crispier then before, but began to fall apart due to the intensity of the oil.  Maybe a more delicate shallow-fry next time.

Somersby Mango & Lime Sparkling Cider (2.5): huge fan of the original apple version, this one not so much.
