10.336 Australian Stockyard Angus Ribeye Steak

Even if unconvinced that the French know how to cook a steak, I’d been looking forward to trying one at Sala Bistro, our go-to restaurant in Greenbelt.  I went with the ribeye because it was the only cut that I could customize the weight, which I’d requested for 450 grams and came out a bit over 500 grams.

In the end – I had to send the undercooked piece of meat back to the kitchen twice, every time returning a bit smaller – the steak turned out okay.  Decent flavor.  Otherwise unremarkable.
