Yesterday and today, the team hosted an Expert Consultation on Law Reform for Health in the SDGs. We’re seeking feedback from legal experts across the region on our draft WHO Western Pacific Regional Action Agenda on Law Reform for Health in the SDGs, which aims to provide technical guidance for Member States in the development, implementation, and evaluation of legal frameworks to advance health under the Sustainable Development Agenda. The draft will be further revised and submitted to Member States for their endorsement at the Regional Committee Meeting in October. In a sense, the document is the culmination of my career in the law.
